CBD Banana Bread

Ingredients
  

  • ¾ cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 1 ¾ cup flour
  • 2 large cage-free eggs
  • 3 large bananas smashed or pureed in a food processor
  • ¼ cup milk of choice or water we use Vanilla Almond Milk for a little extra flavor
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • teaspoon CBD Powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¾ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 325º F (165º C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk CBD Powder and oil together. Once dissolved, add the brown sugar. Add the eggs and beat well, then whisk in the mashed bananas and milk.
  • Add the baking soda, vanilla, salt, and cinnamon, and whisk to mix. Stir in the flour.
  • Pour the batter into your greased loaf pan.
  • Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the bread cool in the loaf pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool for 20 minutes before slicing

Notes

Cook’s Note:
If you cannot find banana pie spice, use 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves, 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, and 1/4 teaspoon allspice.
CBD Dosing Note:
⅛ of a teaspoon is is ~360mg of CBD per loaf of banana bread. Slice the loaf into ten pieces to get 36mg of CBD per serving.
